Life after uni

I suppose there comes time in every girls life when the dredded love topic comes up, meeting up witht he girls the other night and talking about past and pressent love affairs really has had me thinking about it.

There are times when I miss being in a relationship. Unfortunately, my "love life" in the last year or so has been one big JOKE. I fancied guys who were either torpedo types or had commitment issues. And the ones who were vocal in their interest in me were not my type. sods law i guess!!!!!

So, it's just me and the silly boys who can't say what they feel. Waiting for them is just frustrating the hell out of me and I'm getting tired of trying to encourage them to open up. So I'll just say "Screw it!" I'm taking a break from this love crap. If it will come, then great. Otherwise, I'm shifting my time and attention to other more fruitful endeavors.

I woke up this morning in such a weird mood. I went out with a a few old friends from university, I suppose you could call it a mini reunion. I havent seen many people from uni since i moved back from manchester so i was really exicted, been looking fwd to it all weekend.

we all met up at old orleans in guildford (the scene for many good night outs) and then went to cafe nero for dinner. It was great seeing the girls again, i forgot how much fun we use to have together. Even though we havent seen each other for over year it was just like the good old days.

It was great finding out what everyone had been upto, and if they are still going out with thier respective partners from when the left uni. turns out claire has broken up with her boyfriend for 3 years, she did not say much about it and it was clear that she was still abit upset over the situation s i decided to change the subject. iasked the girls "if they had seen any body else from uni?" i wasnt ready for the responce, one of the girls tells us thast she has seen Mish around in southampton city center and he seems to be doing really well for himself! Mish use to be a barmen at the student union, he is a very charming guy who seems to know everyone and allways seems to say the right thing to girls. i suppsoe he is a classsical smooth talker when it comes to all the ladies.

Its hard to point out when my relationship with him started, probably around the begining of the final year at uni. i wont talk about him too much now as i dont have much time, but since lucy mentioned his name all i have been able to think about is him. i went home that evening alittle tipsy but i just could not get to sleep becasue my mind was racing around thinking about mish.
